Does the version of Agora offered thru your services include any
payment gateways such as PayPal ? I have noticed that most of the
payment gateways are extras thru the Agora membership that you
have to pay for _ so to use PayPal would I have to pay Agora extra
for the gateways or do they come with the version that is offered
with your hosting plans?

I will honestly tell you that I do not know every in and out of the Agora software. We have a standard, up to date installation, so my assumption on that is that it does not have what you are looking for.

Is this something you are absolutely needing? What about simply using PayPal's shopping cart features? I've used it several times for both clients and myself, and it works just as well without all the extra steps in between.

Just an idea, I'm sorry my answer isn't more clear. I'll have to spend some time and find out for sure.

thank you for the reply _ is the paypal shopping cart a free module for
dreamweaver by chance ? and i guess with that i would have to build my store backend from scratch or could it be used with Agora ?

The PayPal shopping cart feature is a standard feature with a PayPal account, and everything is administered through their site having to do with payments and what product it is. So, they basically take care of everythign from the time a visitor clicks "Add to Cart" through payment. I don't believe it integrates with Dreamweaver as a module, it simply provides you with a URL to use for each item so PayPal knows what item in your store was clicked.

Basically you will build your cart's interface, get the links from PayPal, and they do the rest. I'm not sure if you can use Agora with paypal like this or not, but if you are able to swap out what URL it uses to add to cart, then you can use Paypal. this very well may be just what you are wanting through agora to begin with, but again I'm not 100% sure about it.
