Do your servers require CGI shebang?

And if so, could you tell me the info needed, I'm obtaining a license for a vBulletin board that I plan to use on your servers.

Thanks in advance, also, hope you got my general question inquirey earlier today from your form. :)

No we do not require anything like that. vBulletin should run perfectly fine with our setup, we have several people using it on our servers already.

as for your general inquiry, no email was rec'd from you today. We would certainly have answered by now. What was the question?

I had a few actually and was requesting either a call or your number so I could give you a quick buzz, I really can't say publicly - we would be using the hosting for an exciting new implementation in our field and I wouldn't want to tip off any competitors. :)

But after reading through most of the threads here - I have most of my Q's answered.

Still if we could set up a short AIM or phone conversation, my AIM is "LastLibs" and my email for a phone set-up is alan(at)alanjoseph(dot)com.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, I'm at the office right now (no AIM here) but hopefully I can catch you this evening and we can get the ball rolling. THanks so much, this speaks volumes of your quick and dedicated support to do all this on your Friday evening/Saturday. :)

Are PERL scripts allowed? The script would open up an .exe program on the server side that would edit a rar file to watermark it with a user's name that's trying to DL it so we can manage any illegal distribution.

Is this type of script allowed?

Hi Alan,

PERL scripts are allowed. I am not sure you will be able to do what you want, but if you have found, or already have a PERL script that runs on Linux boxes that does that, you should be fine.
